And another thing about taxes in America...

Do you remember how much you paid in taxes last year? Probably not, but I'm guessing you know that you paid at least SOMEthing, right?

So how does it make you feel to know that "Two-thirds of U.S. corporations paid no federal income taxes between 1998 and 2005, according to a new report from Congress"? The next time you hear people complaining about how the sky high corporate tax rate is putting American businesses at a competitive disadvantage, remind yourself and others of that statistic. Sure, a tax rate of 25-35% is really high! But when you're paying exactly $0.00 in taxes that 35% doesn't seem so bad.

And would someone please explain to me how you're supposed to cut ANYthing out of zero dollars???
